You’re going to find that this client page is the most extensive of the bunch. We don’t like to pick favorites, but the reason for this is simple - this brand is close to my heart. It was my first real shot in this sphere and I partnered with them for nearly four years.
It wasn’t just my place of work, it was my Third Place. This will be a walk through of my work with Kolkata Chai Co. as their Head of Content, to show you how I worked with the Sanyal brothers, Ani and Ayan, to turn their vision for a cafe and company into the “Best Chai In The Game.”

Original content
The best way to communicate your brand’s voice is through original content. I created these podcast videos and educational videos for YouTube and cut shorts for social to appeal to two platforms.

Before the grand opening, I told Kolkata Chai Co’s origin story with a three part documentary. We called it “For The Culture.”
An effective documentary has a through line that weaves the story together.
WE CREATED A MOMENT
Any chai lover knows that a proper “chai pour” is the sign of a true chaiwallah. We decided to take it up a notch and do the wildest chai pours we could think of at the KCC warehouse.
I pitched this as an idea to generate buzz around KCC’s 3 Year Anniversary and National Chai Day. The video campaign was a hit and we turned this around and made it an interactive portion of the event itself later on.
