When Tahmid got the call, he was ecstatic to hear that PopShift was partnering with Toyota. A long time fan of South Asian culture, it’s always a delight when mainstream brands pour their resources into minority communities.

For PopShift their ask was simple, but the execution would be anything but. For their Music Festival Tahmid was tasked with taking both photo and video of the event and to capture the essence of multiple artists, the crowds, the brands, and the overall atmosphere. He had to learn the venue inside and out and be at the action before it happened. In post, he compiled the edit for Toyota’s internal team to relive the experience and delivered visually stunning photos that highlighted key emotions and moments.
